CCO Donation to Topeka Rescue Mission, Children’s Palace
March 01, 2017
Capital City Oil and Renegade Racing Fuels teamed up to donate $1,000 to the Children’s Palace a division of the Topeka Rescue Mission on Wednesday February 22nd. The racing seminar is a yearly event Capital City hosts and each year we have been fortunate enough to donate to a local charity. Mark DeGroff of the Topeka Rescue Mission was present to accept the check and give a brief overview of the Palace.
The idea of the Children’s Palace was developed three years ago when a group of people had envision to create something special for the children that attended the rescue mission. The desire is to provide a safe, educational atmosphere for children under the age of six to receive care and love while residing at the mission.
